On the way!

Last week we learned that faith goes.

This week we find Jesus and His disciples going out into towns.

On the way the disciples are given an amazing revelation.

They begin to understand that Jesus is not just a prophet, but the Christ. The promised Messiah that they had been waiting for.

In my experience I have found that the most valuable lessons are revealed to me on the way to somewhere.

It may be as I read my Bible and on the way to a certain story I stumble across a verse or 2 that is an answer to my immediate need.

It may be that when I step out in faith to go ask for help that God drops a new revelation of understanding in my mind.

The thing is that as long as we keep moving toward God and trusting in Him, He always finds us at the exact right time. At the point of our need.

Faith is a moving part and when we stop, that is where doubt, distractions, and unbelief begin.

Proverbs 4:20-23 is a great reminder of this.

“Listen carefully, my dear child, to everything that I teach you, and pay attention to all that I have to say. Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being. So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4:20-23‬ ‭TPT‬‬

There are a lot of action words in these verses.

“Listen, pay attention, fill your thoughts, let them penetrate, unwrap, and guard.”

Life is a journey and these are faith exercises to apply

On The Way.
