”Again David gathered all of the chosen men in Israel, thirty thousand. David and all of the people who were with him arose and went from Baalah of Judah to bring up the ark of God, so named for the name of the Lord of Hosts who sits enthroned among the cherubim that are upon it. They loaded the ark of God on a new cart and brought it from the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill. Uzzah and Ahio the sons of Abinadab were driving the new cart.“

Gather Again
How often do you gather again with your closest friends for advice and assurance about your life’s decisions?
David gathered again all the most influential people of the land and according to 1 Chronicles 13, he wanted to know what seemed right in their opinions.
How quick we can go from victory by seeking the Lord to seeking the opinions of others.
David had good intentions and he was following the law by using a new cart, but he forgot one very important detail.
He forgot to ask the Lord!
God wants to be involved in every area of our lives. No detail is too small.
